Ukrainian Theater in Odesa: History and Location
The Odesa Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after V. S. Vasylko is a reflection of an entire era in the cultural life of Odessa. The building is a monument of cultural heritage of Ukraine (formerly the Sibiryakov Theater). The theater is located at 15 Pastera Street.
The director and artistic director of the institution is Yulia Pivovarova.
Capacity and structure of the theater
The auditorium with high-quality acoustics and convenient seating is designed for 1,000 people. In addition to the main stage, there are experimental stage areas ("Spectator on the Stage" and "Stage 38"). The repertoire of the Ukrainian Theater consists of more than 25 performances. They feature beautiful actors, many of whom have the title of People's and Honored Artist of Ukraine.
