Dance performance "CARMEN. A New Story"
The ballet is performed by StepWay, the only ballroom dance theater in Ukraine.
A dance performance inspired by the cult novella by Prosper Mérimée — but this is not a retelling of the book or a classical production. It is an emotional journey through passion, freedom, and choice, told in the language of dance.
The choreography was created by Ukrainian choreographer Yulia Stepova, a native of Mariupol, who is reviving ballroom dance theater in Ukraine.
Incredibly, the entire performance was created remotely — completely online. One choreographer, 16 dancers in different cities. This is not just a performance — it's a phenomenon.
Live music awaits you right in the lobby - the Renaissance Orchestra from Mariupol will welcome guests even before the start of the performance.
