Між стихією та ритмом

October 23 at 6:00 PM | Great Hall of the Odessa Philharmonic

National Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra
Conductor — Natalia Kirichuk
Soloist — Roman Mymryk (saxophone)

Dear friends, we sincerely invite you to an evening that will unite different musical worlds - from bright orchestral expression and sophisticated lyrics to bold timbre experiments and fiery Spanish temperament. A journey awaits you, in which each piece opens a new dimension of sound, the warm timbre of the saxophone and a young talented conductor at the console.
- The evening will open with Symphonia Estravaganza by Ukrainian composer Oleksandr Kozarenko — a work with a distinct character, unexpected twists and powerful internal dynamics.
- Next, in Lars-Erik Larsson's Saxophone Concerto, virtuosity will be combined with lyrical expressiveness.
Soloist — Roman MYMRIK.
- "Rhizome" by contemporary French composer Vincent David invites you to explore the unusual possibilities of the saxophone — its timbral flexibility, rhythmic freedom, and almost limitless palette of sound colors.
- The finale will feature Manuel de Falla's El amor brujo ("The Witch Love"), an orchestral suite in which the fiery energy of Spain pulsates. Folkloric intonations, a mystical atmosphere, the drama of love, and the irrepressible power of dance are woven into a captivating musical story full of passion and magic.
Experience music that captivates, intrigues, and leaves a lasting impression.
