“Make Love, Black-Browed Ones” — a large musical and poetic performance goes on tour in Ukraine
In March, a special artistic event awaits audiences in six cities of Ukraine — the musical and poetic performance “Love, Black-Browed Ones,” which combines the living word of Ukrainian classics, theatrical emotion, and the majestic sound of the orchestra.
This is a project in which poetry once again becomes an event — not a page from a textbook, but a living, contemporary, and extremely powerful experience.
The program is based on the works of Taras Shevchenko, Lesya Ukrainka, Vasyl Symonenko, Vasyl Stus, and other prominent Ukrainian poets, whose lyrics touch on the deepest feelings: love, passion, tenderness, inner strength, and human dignity.
Their poems are performed by famous Ukrainian theater and film actors accompanied by the orchestra of the M. Starytsky Theater, creating a single, holistic stage performance where words, music, and light work together.
