“No. 13 or All-Inclusive” based on Ray Cooney’s play is an ironic and witty comedy considered one of the best comedies of the 21st century and awarded the Laurence Olivier Prize.
It is not just a story about a hotel room where events unfold under the audience’s watch, but a sharp satire of a familiar worldwide story about a powerful politician and his secretary.
According to the plot, the assistant to the British Prime Minister, instead of attending parliamentary debates, chooses a cozy room with a view of Big Ben and the company of a half-dressed secretary.
Everything goes according to plan until the lovers notice a dead body in the window. This is exactly where a whirlwind of comedic events, absurd situations, and unexpected twists begins.
Now the politician has to explain why he is not at work, but in a hotel room — with a secretary and a mysterious corpse.
