War, which is essentially the antonym of life, taught us to live, not just live it.
"Can I Just Sit?" is a one-man play in which five different heroines go through a journey of inner transformation. All the women, played by Olena Kravets in the play, come to personal change not so much because of the war, but because of the realization of the value of life - its uniqueness and uniqueness.
Going through crises and difficult times, each of them changes the "optics" of their view of the world and themselves, realizes their own path, age, strength and femininity. They seek new paths, follow the call of their hearts and gradually spread their wings, which over time become their support.
The heroine's solo performances seem to invite the viewer to recognize themselves in their stories, hear their own questions, and perhaps find answers.
Someone dares to admit the truth that they previously closed their eyes to, and finally speaks honestly to themselves. Someone starts from scratch, discarding illusions and restoring contact with themselves. Each of the five stories makes the performance therapeutic, sincere and life-affirming.
The author of the idea and the performer of the main role is Olena Kravets.
Director - Olena Kolyadenko.
