Why did the bestseller "Loneliness on the Net" become a cult classic and sell millions of copies? It's simple: it's the world's first novel that told the story of virtual love. It was written when there were no dating sites and instant messengers. The only place for online communication at that time was the legendary "ICQ" - the first instant messenger, the name of which comes from the English I seek you ("I seek you").
The heroes of the book are two intelligent, lonely, exhausted people who accidentally find each other. He is a brilliant scientist with world recognition, but with a deep inner crisis, on the verge of suicide. She is successful, wealthy, with a life that all her friends envy, but a deeply lonely and broken person.
The author of the book, Polish writer Janusz Wisniewski, created one of the most romantic online love stories of his time. And Ukrainian director Yevgeny Morozov brought it to the stage so convincingly that he even moved the author of the novel to tears. The whole audience cried with him.
