28 February 2026, Sat. 17:00 - 17:00
Дніпровська філармонія ім. Л Когана Dnipro, вул. Воскресенська, 6

A program for true gourmets. The evening belongs entirely to one genius - the man who taught the whole world to hear the soul of Finland. The music of Jan Sibelius will dominate the stage! Concerto for violin and orchestra - this music breathes the cold of Finnish lakes and the severity of northern rocks. In the hall - you and the music that becomes part of your history. A symphonic experience that is impossible to forget. Feel the scale of genius. Sibelius's violin concerto is often called a "symphony for violin", where the soloist is not just a performer, but an element fighting with the orchestra. One of the most popular, but also the most difficult concerts in the world! Then the space is torn apart by Sibelius' Second Symphony. This is a real element! Imagine the grandeur of the fjords and the power of the ocean. This is a hymn to freedom and invincibility. From pastoral motifs to a grand, triumphant finale that fills the heart with faith and strength! A luxurious evening! The program includes: Jan SIBELIUS. Concerto for Violin and Orchestra and Symphony No. 2. Performers: Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Dnipropetrovsk Philharmonic. Soloist: Dmytro TKACHENKO, violin laureate of several competitions. Conductor: Dmytro MOROZOV, Honored Artist of Ukraine. Dmytro TKACHENKO is a Ukrainian violinist, laureate of international competitions, who actively tours in Europe, Asia and both Americas. The maestro's creative range is impressive: from large-scale operas by G. Verdi and G. Puccini to world premieres of modern classics. It was under the leadership of Dmitry Morozov that in 2008 the rediscovered "Requiem" by A. Salieri was performed for the first time in the world. As a conductor-director, he gave life to dozens of performances, including masterpieces by E. Stankovych, V. Gubarenko and O. Shymko.
