"And on the renewed earth..."
On March 9, the International Center for Culture and Arts will host an event that goes beyond the boundaries of a regular concert. The program "And on the Renewed Land..." is an artistic manifesto of our resilience, where the prophetic word of the Kobzar sounds accompanied by the National Presidential Orchestra and Choir "Khreshchatyk", conductor Maksym Husak, as well as the distinctive voices of the Telniuk sisters.
Why is this important right now?
Today, as Ukraine fights a decisive battle for the right to be itself, the figure of Shevchenko becomes our spiritual shield. This is not another homage to a classic "for show," but a lively conversation about freedom, dignity, and victory over slavery.
"We are simply ripe for singing Shevchenko's poetry," note Halya and Lesya Telniuk. "This is an attempt to show him as lyrical, but not mournful; prophetic, but not scary."
What awaits the audience:
• New Reading: Universal Interpretation of Classical Texts in Contemporary Music.
• Large-scale sound: A combination of the professionalism of the duo "TELNYUK: Sisters", the presidential orchestra, and the academic choir.
• Atmosphere of unity: A space for those who feel responsible for preserving the code of national identity.
This is an evening for those who seek in Shevchenko's words not only consolation, but also strategic confidence that "on the renewed earth there will be no enemy, no adversary."
We invite the noble nobility to honor the Kobzar with dignity!
