THE MORNING AFTER - a post-premiere gathering after «The Trojan Women».
On May 20, the team behind the performance will come together with audiences, media, members of the cultural community, and friends of the project to talk about a production that unexpectedly became one of the most discussed theatre premieres of this spring.
«The Trojan Women» is a Ukrainian adaptation of the legendary production by New York’s La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club, previously presented in more than 30 countries worldwide. In Ukraine, this story was reimagined through chorus, movement, rhythm, and an invented language - without traditional dialogue or classical dramatic structure.
THE MORNING AFTER is an opportunity to step inside the process:
hear how the performance was created between Kyiv and New York
discover what happened during rehearsals and international workshops
ask questions directly to the team and ensemble
meet the people behind the project
connect with those shaping the contemporary theatre scene right now
After the ON-part, the space transforms into OFF:
bar, music, aftertalk, networking, and conversations without stage or microphones.
This event is for those who are interested not only in watching theatre, but in understanding how it is born.
20.05 | 18:00 | cult.motive (36 Spaska St.)
Entry by предварительная registration.
