On April 10, an exclusive screening of the play "EARTH-SONG" will take place in Kyiv, a musical and theatrical performance by the Lviv Academic Municipal Theater, Art, Research and Educational Center "Word and Voice" (SiG).
More precisely, the oldest folk songs from all regions of Ukraine. A song as a memory of the family, as a string of pain and joy between heaven and earth, as a living force that brings to the world the ability to preserve Life.
The performance will take place on Good Friday, a day of silence, deep concentration, and anticipation. At this time, the performance sounds like a conversation between the earth and the sky, as a reminder of the inseparability of generations and the presence of the Family: "How rarely now can we hear a living song! A living song is from a living source: from this person in this time and space. Because today a person loves, breathes, gives birth just like a thousand years ago. And the song preserves and gives life to the very thing that makes him a HUMAN. And he "comes to life again and laughs again" (Shevchenko)," says the director of the performance.
The project is built on a living existence on stage. The song is born here and now, like the breath of the earth itself. The boundary between the stage and the audience disappears, creating a single space of sound.
