Yaroslav Karpuk (real name of the artist) was born in a small village in Volyn. Music seriously entered his life when the boy was 4 years old. Yaroslav was taught to sing by his grandparents, who taught music professionally. The young artist has repeatedly participated and won in creative competitions of various levels. The guy graduated from a music school in the piano class, plays the guitar and the flute. Yaroslav became truly famous in 2019 thanks to his participation in the vocal project "Voice. Children". The singer took 2nd place as a result of his performance in the super final. In 2021, the young artist won the Grand Prix of the Black Sea Games festival and began creating original works.
The YAKTAK solo project was launched in February 2022. Dramatic realities influenced the young man's creativity, and now in his repertoire, next to brilliant covers of the songs "Stefania", "By the Poplar", "The Bride" - his own insightful compositions "Peremezhe dobro", "Summon", "In an empty room" and other songs . YAKTAK actively participates in charity events and concerts in support of the Armed Forces. The singer has already appeared on the same stage with the band "Druga Rik" and dreams of working together with the bands "Ocean Elsa" and "Bumboks".
In the future, Yaroslav seeks to develop in terms of stylistic diversity, enriching his own creativity with ethnic motifs. It is necessary to single out the special "trick" of the artist.
