"Everyone can be an interesting speaker" — Hit FM host Yulia Karpova will share techniques for effective public speaking
The ability to speak in a way that makes you heard and understood is one of the most important skills today — in work, public speaking, and everyday communication.
On March 14, radio host and founder of the charitable foundation "Yulia's Grandmothers" Yulia Karpova will hold two master classes in Kyiv, "Speak so that people listen. Speeches that don't tire you." The events will take place in the lecture hall at 23 Knyaziv Ostrozkyh Street.
During the intensives, participants will master a universal speech structure, learn to adapt the text to their own style of speaking, and make the presentation lively. They will also receive a selection of exercises — from relaxation techniques to techniques that help stabilize the voice and hide signs of excitement. A separate block will be devoted to working with emotions and physicality: how to move from a "nervous squeak" to a stable voice, what to do with your hands, and how to look confident during a speech. "Speaking so that you are listened to is when the audience not only hears, but also understands and analyzes what is said. It's about techniques that allow you to be memorable," emphasizes Yulia.
