Planetarium Noosphere invites you to an interactive program for adults and children aged 12 and over, which includes a tour of the exhibition area, an introduction to the constellations and a simulation of space travel in the Starry Hall, and a viewing of the full-dome cartoon in 4K format "Stars: A Look into Infinity" .

During the program "The Milky Way Galaxy: Stars, Nebulae and Black Holes" we will visit the most picturesque corners of our galaxy to learn how and where stars are born, what transformations they undergo during their lives, why some stars become nebulae and others turn into neutron stars or black holes, what future awaits the Sun and how long it will live.

Planetarium Noosphere

A place that arouses sincere surprise and admiration: history and modernity

Planetarium Noosphere is the modern name of the Dnipro Planetarium, which hospitably opened its doors to the first visitors in 1968. The center for education about space, astronomy and science is located at uzviz Krutogorny, 10. The unique space allowed everyone to personally explore the movement of planets and various celestial phenomena. Programs were demonstrated on a dome with a diameter of 12 meters using the "Planetarium" apparatus from Carl Zeiss Jena. With the beginning of the use of computers, the capabilities of the planetarium expanded, and the topics of the programs covered a wider age category.

The new history of the institution began in 2018, when, with the support of public organizations, the Planetarium Noosphere underwent a major renovation and technical improvement. Among the important improvements was the installation of a 6-LED Norx projection system for demonstrating videos in 4K format. The exhibition area featured interactive exhibits that allow you to get acquainted with astronomy and the structure of the planets: a lunar globe, a projection sandbox with kinetic sand, etc.
