Planetarium Noosphere invites you to an interactive program for children aged 8 and over, which includes a tour of the exhibition area, an introduction to the constellations, a simulation of space travel in the Starry Hall, and a viewing of the full-dome film in 4K format "Galactic Voyage".
To have wings and fly is one of the greatest dreams of mankind. Da Vinci's drawings of flying mechanisms, the Montgolfier brothers' balloons, the Wright brothers' airplane, and Sikorsky's helicopter brought us closer to its realization step by step... And then, in 1969, man first set foot on the surface of the Moon.
To experience the thrill of flight, we will travel together through space and time. We will see the first hot air balloon, observe a solar eclipse from a plane, visit Earth's orbit, where we will find artificial satellites and the International Space Station, mingle, and even try to imagine what the spacecraft that will first take people to Mars will look like.
What does the visit program (90 minutes) include?
- interactive introduction to the exhibition area accompanied by a space guide;
- visiting the unique Mars and Moon zones, which recreate the surfaces of Mars and the Moon;
- VR journey through the Solar System;
- getting to know the constellations in the starry sky and traveling through space in real time in the domed Star Hall;
- watching a full-dome movie in 4K format.
Planetarium Noosphere is a modern center for astronomy, science, and STEAM education in Dnipro, which has no analogues in Ukraine.

Місце, що викликає щирий подив і захоплення: історія та сучасність
Planetarium Noosphere – сучасна назва Дніпровського планетарію, що гостинно відкрив свої двері першим відвідувачам у 1968 році. Центр освіти про космос, астрономію і науку розташований за адресою узвіз Крутогірний, 10. Унікальний простір дозволив всім бажаючим особисто дослідити рух планет та різні небесні явища. Програми демонструвалися на куполі діаметром 12 метрів за допомогою апарату «Планетарій» компанії Carl Zeiss Jena. З початком використання комп’ютерів розширились можливості планетарію, і тематика програм охопила ширшу вікову категорію.
Нова історія закладу розпочалась у 2018 році, коли за підтримки громадських організацій відбувся капітальний ремонт та технічне удосконалення Planetarium Noosphere. Серед важливих удосконалень – встановлення 6-ти LED-проєкторної проєкційної системи Norx для демонстрації відео у форматі 4K. У виставковій зоні з’явились інтерактивні експонати, що дозволяють знайомитися з астрономією та будовою планет: глобус Місяця, проєкційна пісочниця з кінетичним піском тощо.
