About the program
“Stellar Cradle: From Atoms to Life” is a deep immersion into the processes of cosmic evolution. We travel to the most distant regions of space, where young stars ignite within enormous gas clouds, and explore the life cycle of every star from birth to its final stages.
Viewers will observe the breathtaking shapes of cosmic nebulae and uncover a key mystery: how the remnants of dead stars transform into the “building blocks of life” that make up everything around us, including ourselves.

Місце, що викликає щирий подив і захоплення: історія та сучасність
Planetarium Noosphere – сучасна назва Дніпровського планетарію, що гостинно відкрив свої двері першим відвідувачам у 1968 році. Центр освіти про космос, астрономію і науку розташований за адресою узвіз Крутогірний, 10. Унікальний простір дозволив всім бажаючим особисто дослідити рух планет та різні небесні явища. Програми демонструвалися на куполі діаметром 12 метрів за допомогою апарату «Планетарій» компанії Carl Zeiss Jena. З початком використання комп’ютерів розширились можливості планетарію, і тематика програм охопила ширшу вікову категорію.
Нова історія закладу розпочалась у 2018 році, коли за підтримки громадських організацій відбувся капітальний ремонт та технічне удосконалення Planetarium Noosphere. Серед важливих удосконалень – встановлення 6-ти LED-проєкторної проєкційної системи Norx для демонстрації відео у форматі 4K. У виставковій зоні з’явились інтерактивні експонати, що дозволяють знайомитися з астрономією та будовою планет: глобус Місяця, проєкційна пісочниця з кінетичним піском тощо.
