Creative Journey
Originally from the Khmelnytskyi region and now based in Lviv, Andrii Basun burst onto the Ukrainian music scene in early 2023 with his solo project, "Tviy Zaychyk Pyshe." The talented musician captured the audience's attention with his very first release. While his initial demos leaned toward a light pop-punk sound, the group’s style later evolved, resulting in a vibrant blend of pop-rock, indie-pop, and "cute-rock."The debut EP, *Plaksa* ("Crybaby"), was released in 2023. It was created as a "bedroom recording" project, with the entire creative process—from writing lyrics to mixing the tracks—taking place at home or in local studios. The release features five songs centered on the emotions of youth. In February 2024, a new song, "Vse yak ty khotila" ("Everything Just as You Wanted"), was released.
In August 2025, Tviy Zaychyk Pyshe ("Your Bunny Writes") released its debut studio album, *Love Will Save Everything, Even You...* Music critics have described the record as an "album of gentle sighs," in which Andrii Basun completely eschews profanity, focusing instead on exploring complex inner experiences.
Project Evolution
After two productive years as a strictly studio-based project, the act transitioned to a live performance format; in September 2025, Tviy Zaychyk Pyshe appeared on stage at the Craft Beer & Vinyl Music Festival in Lviv. Furthermore, the band announced its first major solo concert, scheduled for November 20, 2026, at the !FESTrepublic venue in Lviv.Creative Concept and Song Themes
The musician himself notes that his music aims to offer listeners a range of genuine emotions—from joy and energy to a sense of lightness and even sweet nostalgia. His tracks encourage listeners to be more open, to share their own emotions and experiences with friends, and to become part of a community. The project’s songs are a concentrated blend of sincerity and real-life stories that resonate with many. Themes such as love, self-discovery, joy, and sadness all find an echo in the band’s compositions. The project’s audience consists of those capable of deep feeling and intense love—people who can see a reflection of themselves in the music. By blending indie, pop-rock, and punk-rock, Andrii Basun creates atmospheric tracks about feelings that are sometimes difficult to put into words.
Collaborations and Experiments
In the spring of 2026, fans were treated to a striking collaboration between the artist and the young band *servant*. The dramatic song "Ya vse viddam" ("I’ll Give Everything") explores different perspectives on the distance between people who are forced to move constantly, drifting further and further apart. The contribution from *servant* conveys a sense of dependency and a longing to reclaim what has been lost. Meanwhile, *Tviy zaichyk pyshe* ("Your Bunny Writes") addresses the coldness and detachment that can arise in relationships separated by vast distances.Discography:
