"Circle of Life" – a musical performance featuring the legendary band DakhaBrakha

Twenty years later, GOGOLFEST speaks of life awakening and rebirth. We learn again to dream, to strive, to create, to restore our own world and to live. DakhaBrakha reflects the beauty of the process of this transformation, leading with its music through new circles of being, spiral after spiral.

“The Circle of Life” is a synthetic musical-performative event in which music, body performance, dance and video art merge into one multicultural event, balancing on the edge of dimensions. On a vertical stage, performers address eternal human questions that always remain timeless. Despite everything, we live, create, dream. This is a musical ritual in which the ethno-chaos of the DakhaBrakha band’s sound is intertwined with visual art, creating a space where the past and the future meet at one point, paying tribute to memory and tribute to the present.

About the band
DakhaBrakha is a Ukrainian ethno-chaos band founded in 2004 at the Center for Contemporary Art "DAKH" in Kyiv. Combining authentic Ukrainian folklore with world musical traditions and experimental sound, the band created a unique musical style that gained recognition on the world's largest stages and festivals - from Glastonbury to Coachella, and became one of the most recognizable Ukrainian musical projects.
