We invite you to the opening of GOGOLFEST 2026! On the first day of the festival, a special program dedicated to understanding the Ukrainian present will be presented. These are two artistic events that invite a frank conversation about war, truth, human resilience and the power of culture. Two acts - two different artistic expressions, united by a common desire to help understand the reality in which we live.

When art becomes a powerful source of strength and faith

The festival program consists of two acts:

• Act I: 6:00 PM–7:00 PM, Dakh Daughters with the program “AntIDot.” In a world where lies, violence, and indifference have become part of everyday life, art takes on a new role – it becomes a means of resistance and inner support. This is the idea embodied in the new program of Dakh Daughters “AntIDot” – a powerful artistic manifesto directed against information poison and distortion of reality.
  
  Combining theater and music, poetry and the grotesque in one vivid performance, the artists will present both well-known compositions and songs from the new album Pandora's Box. This is a performance about those who fight, lose, do not give up and continue to speak the truth even in the darkest times. The program reminds us: art can remain a source of strength, hope and light when each of us is going through the most difficult trials;
• Act II: 19:30–21:30 "Aeneid" - Veterans Theater. The legendary poem by Ivan Kotlyarevsky, performed by the Veterans Theater, appears as a modern and deeply personal story about war, memory, and restoration. Through words, music, and plastic arts, the performance opens up space for sincere dialogue and inner healing. On stage are active military personnel and veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war, people who, despite their physical injuries, today demonstrate to everyone an incredible will to live. "Aeneid" is not only a stage premiere, but also a joint project of the communications department of the Territorial Defense Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Dramatists Theater, designed to combine creativity with psychological rehabilitation and help society better understand the experience of those who survived the war.
