Sometimes the intention to resolve a conflict through a “cultural” conversation only leads to a demonstration of the inability of most people to hear and respect each other. So is our “tolerance” really that fragile?
The performance "Savages" in Odessa will take place on June 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Theater in Eter.
"Savages" is an acutely relevant production in the genre that the creators defined as "diplomatic drama-comedy at the long table." The work, based on the play "The God of Massacre" by Yasmina Reza, explores issues of morality and people's ability to understand each other in a dispute.

Before us – it would seem, ideal parents with excellent manners. They are having a restrained discussion of a children's fight. And everything is calm and civilized. The conversation begins with diplomacy, the right words and demonstrative tolerance. But as soon as emotions take over – and the thin layer of upbringing cracks right before our eyes. Behind polite smiles, insults, aggression and true human nature suddenly appear. This is a sharp and explosive story about the moment when decency and politeness disappear without a trace, and the masks fall off one after another.
The duration of the performance is 60–75 minutes. Age limit is 13+. We are waiting for you!
