The story unfolds in 2012 in Semigory. The whole family gathers once again at their parents’ home, but it seems as though everyone here is living in their own little world. Karpo is waiting for his “girlfriend” and dreaming of a new chapter in his life, but along with this, changes are coming to the house that no one is really ready for. The children have grown up, and that difficult moment has arrived when parents have to learn to let go, and the children themselves must take responsibility for their own choices.
This story is about weaknesses and virtues, about trying not to lose oneself amid daily difficulties. The characters make mistakes, make us laugh, and search for a way out—just like in real life. It’s very easy to recognize yourself, your family, or your acquaintances in each character. After all, the situations unfolding on stage are familiar to almost everyone.
