Of course, marriage is a unique event for every person. But at all times, the wedding plot was built almost the same. Nikolai Gogol wrote a comedy about marriage, in which many amazing, even bizarre, events occur.

…Agafia Tikhonovna dreams passionately about the wedding, about the betrothed: that he be the most beautiful, the smartest and… – we can go on and on – the most-the-most… And so the suitors appear in her imagination. One by one. Each one – in a shirt that she had prepared in advance for the wedding, with such incredibly beautiful words of declaration of love. Which of them should she choose? Who is the best of them? Or, perhaps, the matchmaker Thekla has not shown her all of them yet?! And suddenly you choose some devil in the guise of a groom... That's going to be trouble!

All this is in Nikolai Gogol's comedy. And there is in the performance of director Ivan Uryvsky, who, based on the motives of the classic play, created an extraordinary performance, full of deep folk wisdom, metaphorical, figurative, impressive and exciting, and prompts reflection.
