They say it's very convenient: you don't have to pay taxes, you can control other people's destinies and justify any abomination with a "higher purpose."

But there is a nuance - in the mirror, instead of the majestic Creator, you usually see a scared child with bloody hands or lactose intolerance.

The first non-state theater of Donetsk Oblast "Terra Incognita" presents a performance

"Imagine you are God."

This is not just a production, it is a psychological exercise for those who are not afraid to see the truth.

What's on the program for this festival of absurdity :

• Teenage Killer: You'll learn how to learn the "art" of shooting civilians ("because they're rats!") but escape the position through broken milk bottles. Because killing is work, and lactose intolerance is fate.

• Democracy in a Cage: You will be reminded of your sacred right to make a phone call from prison. The fact that the phone doesn't work is a trifle. The main thing is to be proud of the country that gave you the right to dial a number again tomorrow that will never answer.

• Transport Religion: We will watch a son who takes his father in a wheelbarrow to seek refuge for his soul. The stones and trees are already "occupied", McDonald's is uncomfortable, but the railroad tracks are just right. The ideal inheritance for a son after such a choice is the wheelbarrow itself.

• Isolation as a higher good: The metaphor of the "Circle", which promises absolute safety, but turns you into an eternal prisoner of your own cell.

All these fragments of reality are organically woven into a single canvas thanks to the amazing modern choreography of ALONA GURA (Ukraine-Germany). Dance here is the thread that stitches together disparate stories, transforming the intellectual theater of the absurd into a living, pulsating organism.

This is the only theater of refugee artists in Europe (Mariupol-Kyiv), where irony cuts through the flesh, and black humor helps not to go crazy and gives confidence that absurdity is not the only form of existence in the world around us.
