The Luhansk Regional Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre presents a comedy based on the work of William Shakespeare, translated by O. Gryaznov and I. Steshenko (edited by Vladyslav Pysarev). The production involved:

• Director and stage director - Vladyslav Pysarev;
• Scenography and costumes - Honored Artist of Ukraine Andrii Romanchenko;
• Vocal accompaniment - Anastasiia Snitko;
• Assistant director - Honored Artist of Ukraine Denys Ponomarenko.

Implacable rivals or passionate lovers - the line is too thin! In Shakespeare’s comedy «Much Ado About Nothing», witty intrigues, funny misunderstandings, and sharp verbal battles make the characters see each other in a completely new light.

In the original, the action takes place on the sunny coast of the Italian town of Messina, but we thought: why travel far if we already have plenty of “ado” here? A summer café by the seaside is a familiar childhood setting, where the aroma of coffee mixes with sunscreen, and the sea breeze overhears other people’s secrets better than the most experienced gossip.
