Planetarium Noosphere invites adults and children aged 4 and older to the interactive program “Evolution of the Universe” with a screening of the 4K full-dome film “The Limits of the Reachable.” Visitors will enjoy a guided tour of the exhibition zone, an introduction to constellations, and a live lecture journey through the starry sky in the dome-shaped Star Hall.

About the program
During the program, you will travel through billions of years of cosmic history. You will learn how stars form from clouds of gas and dust, how planets emerge around them, and how water appeared on Earth, making it unique.
The program also explores the formation of the Moon and the future of our galaxy, including a possible collision between the Milky Way and Andromeda. Special attention is given to Jupiter’s moons: volcanic Io and icy Europa, beneath whose surface an ocean — and possibly primitive life — may exist.
What does the 90-minute program include?

- A live lecture journey through the starry sky in the dome-shaped Star Hall.

Місце, що викликає щирий подив і захоплення: історія та сучасність
Planetarium Noosphere – сучасна назва Дніпровського планетарію, що гостинно відкрив свої двері першим відвідувачам у 1968 році. Центр освіти про космос, астрономію і науку розташований за адресою узвіз Крутогірний, 10. Унікальний простір дозволив всім бажаючим особисто дослідити рух планет та різні небесні явища. Програми демонструвалися на куполі діаметром 12 метрів за допомогою апарату «Планетарій» компанії Carl Zeiss Jena. З початком використання комп’ютерів розширились можливості планетарію, і тематика програм охопила ширшу вікову категорію.
Нова історія закладу розпочалась у 2018 році, коли за підтримки громадських організацій відбувся капітальний ремонт та технічне удосконалення Planetarium Noosphere. Серед важливих удосконалень – встановлення 6-ти LED-проєкторної проєкційної системи Norx для демонстрації відео у форматі 4K. У виставковій зоні з’явились інтерактивні експонати, що дозволяють знайомитися з астрономією та будовою планет: глобус Місяця, проєкційна пісочниця з кінетичним піском тощо.
