Kyiv this fall will become a meeting place for theater artists from Ukraine and Europe. From October 6 to 11, 2026, the III International Festival of Monodramas SOLO PLAYS FEST will be held in the capital. The audience will be treated to a rich program of one-man shows, theatrical experiments, and meetings with artists.
The SOLO PLAYS FEST festival will take place from October 6 to 11, 2026 in Kyiv, at the location - Kyiv Fortress, entrance from Lesya Ukrainka Blvd. between No. 12 and No. 14. The program includes performances by Ukrainian and foreign artists.

SOLO PLAYS FEST – III International Festival of Monodramas
SOLO PLAYS FEST will bring together artists with different theatrical experience, styles and creative visions on one festival stage. The program features performances by Ukrainian performers, as well as guests from the UK and Romania.
The audience will be able to see the performances "I Want to Go Home" and "The Trumpeter" by Christine Millward from the UK, productions by Inna Goncharova, performances by Svyatoslav Fechtel, Christian-Stefan Utse, Sylvia Rylan, Karina Levyshchenko, Olena Dudych, Lydia Danylchuk, Petro Myronov and other festival participants.
SOLO PLAYS FEST Festival Program
On October 6, at 5:00 PM, the performance "I Want to Go Home" by Christine Millward (Great Britain) will take place, and at 7:00 PM - "The Queen of Detectives" by Inna Goncharova (Ukraine, Kyiv).
On October 7 at 4:00 PM, viewers are invited to "Three Loves" by Sviatoslav Fechtel (Ukraine, Kyiv), and at 7:00 PM - to the performance "Three More: Clytemnestra, Isabella and Zainab from Spain" by Cristian-Stefan Uce (Romania, Bucharest).
On October 8, there are two performances on the program: at 4:00 PM – “The Dove Needle” by Inna Goncharova, at 7:00 PM – “The Trumpeter” by Christine Millward.
On October 9, the festival day will begin at 2:00 PM with an exchange of monodrama texts. At 5:00 PM, the performance "We Don't Need Revenge" by Sylvia Raylan (Romania, Botosani) will take place, and at 7:00 PM - "Star" by Karina Levyshchenko (Ukraine, Kyiv).
October 10 at 3:00 PM – “About Romeo and Juliet, Only Their Names Were Margarita and Abulfaz” by Olena Dudych, at 5:00 PM – “Conversation” by Lydia Danylchuk, and at 7:00 PM – “Three in a Boat, Not Including the Dog” by Petro Mironov.
On October 11, the festival will conclude with a program of three performances: at 3:00 PM – “The Minetti Effect” by Oleg Drach, at 5:00 PM – “Notes of a Madman” by Mykhailo Fitsa, at 7:00 PM – “Carnival” by Olena Raevska.
