Serafina lives and breathes love for her late husband Rosario. Having closed herself off from the world, she focused on experiencing her tragedy. Rumors about her lover's numerous betrayals only fuel the fire of jealousy in the woman's heart. And the sprouts of the first love of her young daughter Rosa are sacrificed to excessive maternal fears.
It seems that nothing can shake Serafina's crazy devotion and worship of her former great love. But everything suddenly changes when the eccentric young man Alvaro appears in her home…
“The Rose Tattoo” is the professional debut of students of the acting department of the Kyiv National University of Theater, Film and Television named after I.K. Karpenko-Kary, the workshop of Dmitry Bogomazov. Involving the best student performances in the repertoire of professional theaters has become a good tradition in recent years. Such collaborations are not only a springboard for young people, an opportunity to realize themselves on the professional stage, but also a great opportunity for the theater community to discover new acting names.
A new interpretation of the popular American play was realized by recognized artists - the outstanding director Dmitry Bogomazov and the famous theater and film actor Andrey Saminin. Live music, tenderness and passion of young actors in the space of a respectable academic stage will undoubtedly captivate the hearts of the audience...

🧸 Children under 5 years old are admitted free of charge exclusively for children's daytime performances✅ Spectators from 14 years old are allowed to the performances without adult accompaniment
🛡️ In the event of an air raid: if an air raid alarm sounds before the start, visitors must vacate the theater premises, administrators direct the audience to the nearest shelter (metro station "Teatralna"). If the alarm is short, then after its end the performance will begin in about 20 minutes. If the alarm is in the middle of the event, the performance is stopped, theater employees take the audience out of the theater building: the metro station "Teatralna" is located next to the theater, if the alarm is short (up to 40 minutes) the performance can be continued after the alarm ends.
