A new star duo on the Ukrainian musical horizon
Chico & Qatoshi is a popular musical project consisting of Mykola Soproniuk (Qatoshi) and Roman Kovalenko (Chico). It was Mykola and Roman who became the authors of the viral tracks "Help ZSU" and "Swallows". The video for the absolute hit "Swallows" was published on June 19, 2022, and today the number of its views has already reached 30 million. The clip for the song "Dopomozhe ZSU" also surpassed the mark of 6.5 million views. The composition itself brought the duo the award of the Yuna-2023 music award (Chico & Qatoshi's work was chosen among the 12 best out of 100 other Ukrainian hits).
Mykola and Roman teamed up after a full-scale invasion. Previously, each of them was active in creative activities: Qatoshi was engaged in blogging, and Chico created beats for Tina Karol, WellBoy and other popular artists.
