Danya Povar is a Ukrainian comedian, stand-up performer, and resident of the well-known «Brodiachyi StandUP» club. The artist's real name is Danylo Peretiahin. The comedian comes from the Kherson region. At present, his hometown of Kakhovka, with its long history, remains under Russian occupation. Naturally, Danylo is deeply saddened by this. At the same time, he says that this is another reason to donate more and support the Ukrainian army.
As a child, Danylo Povar was passionate about football. He also loved creativity and the arts, especially comedy. His father often traveled abroad for work, so the greatest support in the boy's life came from his mother. She always believed in her son, even though she did not fully understand his interest in comedy. After finishing school, the young man decided to study to become a pastry chef at a local vocational school. That is where the nickname "Povar" ("Cook") came from. For some time, Peretiahin worked in the confectionery industry. However, he soon realized that his true calling was comedy.
Even as a child, Danylo filmed humorous videos for YouTube. At the same time, he struggled with self-doubt and searched for ways to overcome it. Later, he switched to TikTok, where his original content became even more popular.
