The Artist’s Rise
DOROFEEVA is the stage name of Ukrainian singer, songwriter, blogger, designer, and actress Nadiia Dorofieieva. The future star of the show business industry was born in sunny Simferopol into the family of a military officer and a dentist. Nadiia received her secondary education at a lyceum in Simferopol.
From childhood, Nadiia showed an exceptional passion for creativity and the stage. Whenever she had the opportunity, she organized improvised performances. Having noticed their daughter’s artistic abilities, her parents decided to support her desire to develop in music and dance. Therefore, they enrolled the girl in a music school and a dance studio.
At the age of 10, Nadiia began seriously studying pop vocals. At 12, she started performing at the Simferopol nightclub «Albion». She performed modern interpretations of Ukrainian songs. At the same time, she participated in numerous vocal and dance competitions, where she quickly gained recognition thanks to her bright charisma and undeniable talent. Her first major victory was the Grand Prix at the «Southern Express» competition. Later, Nadiia became the Crimean dance champion. She also won second place at the prestigious international Bohatykov Competition.
Later, the young artist’s success reached the international stage. In Hungary, Nadiia Dorofieieva won first place at a vocal show. In Bulgaria, at the festival «Sun. Youth. Beauty», she received the second prize. In 2004, the performer won another important competition, «Black Sea Games». Alongside her active creative work, the singer received higher education through distance learning, specializing in vocal arts.
Creative Career
Nadiia Dorofieieva’s growing popularity was marked by an invitation from a music producer to become the lead singer of the girl group «M.Ch.S.» in 2005. Initially, the group performed under the name Beauty Style. However, in 2008, the singer took her first steps in her solo career. In Kyiv, she presented her debut album titled «Marquise».
However, after her discography debut, her desire for collective creativity remained. Nadiia decided to try herself in a new music project created by the famous Ukrainian producer Potap. After an online selection process, the artist passed an in-person audition in the capital. As a result, Dorofieieva was invited to join the newly formed group together with Oleksii Zavhorodnii, better known as Pozitiv.
This is how the group «Time and Glass» was created. On November 17, 2010, it presented its first single and music video «The Card Fell This Way». The song quickly became a hit, giving the duo a powerful start and recognition among a wide audience of listeners. The group’s following releases gained millions of views on YouTube one after another. The tracks quickly topped music charts. Among all their works, the Ukrainian-language track «Smoke» stands out. The song expanded the duo’s fan base and entered the top three most popular Ukrainian-language music videos of that time.
Alongside her work in the duo, Nadiia actively participated in television projects. In 2011, she became one of the youngest participants of the show «Star+Star-2» on the 1+1 channel. She initially performed in a pair with actress Olesia Zhelezniak. Later, she performed with Viktor Loginov. In 2012, the singer’s fans saw her in the transformation show «Shoumasthgouon» on the Novyi Kanal. In 2013, the members of the popular duo «Time and Glass» participated in the «MOZGI TOUR». During the concert tour, the artists visited 24 largest cities in Ukraine. In 2014, the first studio album by Nadiia and Pozitiv was released.
The Singer’s Solo Career
At the end of 2020, the duo of Nadiia Dorofieieva and Pozitiv officially ceased to exist. For the singer, this marked the beginning of a new stage – a solo project under the name DOROFEEVA. Her debut work in the new format was the song Gorit. The track quickly gained popularity and set the direction for the artist’s future creative work.
The following releases, including A tebe, Bam Bam, Vecherinka, and others, established the singer’s status as a relevant pop performer. Starting from 2022, the artist fully transitioned to creating Ukrainian-language content.
In September of the same year, DOROFEEVA presented her first Ukrainian-language EP «Meanings», which included 7 tracks. In December, the song «So That It Would Not Happen» was released. The composition was created in collaboration with Mykhailo Katsurin. The track entered the top ten most popular Ukrainian songs of 2023 according to Apple Music.
In September 2024, DOROFEEVA released her full-length album Heartbeat. The release became the first album where Nadiia was the author of all songs. The singer also was included in Spotify’s global playlist «Best of EQUAL 2024».

During 2025–2026, DOROFEEVA’s music reached a new level, combining modern global production with distinctive elements of electronic music, hip-hop, and pop dance. At the beginning of 2026, the singer gave a second life to one of her biggest hits – the song «Name 505». In 2016, Nadiia Dorofieieva expanded her presence in the media space: she became a coach on the popular children’s vocal talent show, participated in the dubbing of an animated film, and launched her own clothing line, combining her music career with the fashion industry.
Together with her colleague Pozitiv, Nadiia joined the team of coaches on the vocal project «The Voice. Kids». Later, she participated in «Dancing with the Stars», where she demonstrated herself as an artist of versatile talent. Social Activity
With the beginning of the full-scale war, DOROFEEVA completely switched to the Ukrainian language in her creative work and public communication. The artist actively releases new songs, participates in charity initiatives, and continuously supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
One of the most notable events was the premiere of the music video for the song «And I Kept Crying», which took place during a live Twitch broadcast together with streamer Misha Lebiga. The broadcast attracted a record audience for Ukrainian-language content – 57 thousand viewers. As a result, 6 million hryvnias were raised. Half of this amount was directed to the fundraising campaign by Azov.One. The remaining part was given to 18 families who lost their loved ones during the missile strike on Chernihiv on April 17, 2024.
In addition to supporting the military, Nadiia is involved in social initiatives. She helps children with cancer from «Okhmatdyt» and children with autism by supporting the Levchyk Spectrum Hub center. In 2025, the artist launched the project «I Pass the Word» – an initiative in which the singer gives her Instagram page every week to modern-day heroes. The first participant was volunteer Denys Khrystov, who rescues civilians from the hottest areas of combat.
