The artist's early years
Nataliia Buchynska was born in Lviv into a family where music was an inseparable part of everyday life. Although her father worked as a dentist and her mother was a merchandise specialist, both shared a genuine love of singing, which they passed on to their daughter. Thanks to this family atmosphere, the future singer developed a passion for music from an early age and dreamed of performing on stage.
When she was five years old, the family moved to Ternopil. It was there that Nataliia's path to success began. She joined her school choir and quickly became one of the most active participants in the city's cultural life. After graduating from Ivan Franko Gymnasium and music school, Buchynska enrolled at Ternopil Academy of National Economy, where she studied Auditing and Control. The beginning of her musical career
Nataliia Buchynska achieved her first major successes while still a university student. In 1995, she won the «Miss Academy» competition and soon became one of the prize winners of the qualifying round for the «Chervona Ruta-95» festival. In 1998, the singer won the President's Grand Prix, and her song «In the Tent» was named «Song of the Year». It was then that Nataliia's name began rapidly gaining popularity among a wide audience.
