The Artist’s Journey
Oleh Svysh is a talented improviser, comedian, and director of the Idealers marketing agency. He studied at Secondary School No. 2 in the city of Zelenodolsk, Dnipropetrovsk region. As a student, he was particularly interested in history, law, Ukrainian language, and literature. In 2012, he graduated from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University and remained living in Kharkiv.Oleh began his journey toward popularity and recognition in the comedy industry together with friends. In 2012, Oleh Svysh, Oleksandr Serdiuk, Vasyl Baidak, and Vadym Kozedub competed in KVN, but their team was disqualified. The reason was that during rehearsals they presented one script, but unexpectedly performed a completely different one on stage. After that, the group decided to establish their own absurdist theatre in Kharkiv. The team had no single leader or producer. All the "Sparrows" worked together to write scripts and bring them to life on stage.
Creative Career
In 2015, Oleh Svysh, as a member of the "Sparrow" People's Theatre of the Absurd, travelled to Odesa to participate in the "League of Laughter" festival. However, the comedians did not make it any further that year. The following year, the Kharkiv performers successfully passed the selection process and appeared in several festival concerts. After their successful debut, the group returned to new seasons of the show almost every year. In 2021, the "Sparrow" theatre, mentored by Volodymyr Dantes, won the "Battle of the Titans" project. In 2026, Oleh Svysh significantly expanded the scale of his creative work by launching several high-profile projects, returning to international touring, and continuing to support charitable initiatives. The comedian described this period as his "coming out of the shadows," finally establishing himself as an independent public figure. One of the year's most notable events was the show "Nashebachennia 6", which Oleh organised in May together with the members of Badstreet Boys. The event gathered more than 1,500 spectators in the venue and over 10,000 online, becoming a large-scale musical and comedy project featuring unexpected collaborations with leading Ukrainian artists.
During the summer, the comedian embarked on his first major European tour in four years. The route included 14 cities, among them Vienna, Munich, Hamburg, Bratislava, and Amsterdam. Every performance was completely sold out, and an important part of each event was fundraising in support of Ukraine.
Oleh Svysh has participated in numerous popular comedy projects and shows:

This happened in a record-breaking period of just half a day. The song's video on Instagram also received more than 115,000 likes. The next hit by Oleh Svysh and Badstreet Boys was released as a Christmas gift to Ukrainians in 2023.
