Officers' House: An Important Component of Kyiv's Cultural Life

The construction of the building began in 1914–1918 as a flight school for warrant officers, but due to historical circumstances, the project was never completed. Construction was completed much later – in 1931, under the leadership of architect Joseph Karakis. In 1989, the building was included in the list of architectural monuments, and since 1999, after changing several names, it officially received its modern name – the Central House of Officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Today, the Officers' House in Kyiv is not only a city architectural symbol, but also a popular cultural location for holding events of various scales. The institution is located on Mykhailo Hrushevskoho Street, 30/1 – just a few minutes walk from the Arsenalna metro station, which makes the site convenient and accessible.

The building has about 150 rooms for various purposes. The concert hall is designed for approximately 900 spectators and provides comfortable viewing of events. And the lecture hall regularly gathers an audience united by common ideas and interests. There is also a cozy cafeteria for guests, where you can take a break between events.

• stand-up concerts with the participation of top comedians;
