The Dovzhenko Center, known as the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Cultural and Educational Center, is located in the Lviv residential area of Sykhiv. It was built in December 1986 according to the project of architects Anatoly Vashchak, Vasyl Kamenshchyk, Yevgenia Minkova, as well as designers M. Bachynskyi, Yu. Khrobak. The Dovzhenka Center in Lviv takes care of the preservation, restoration, study and popularization of the national film heritage of Ukraine. In addition, it is one of the largest cinema-concert centers in Western Ukraine, where a wide variety of performances take place.

The Dovzhenka Center in Lviv has 3 halls: a red concert hall with 747 seats, a blue "Jazz" with 100 seats and a space on the roof for 200 people. The halls are equipped with a DOLBY DIGITAL SURROUND sound system, "JBL" acoustics, and modern Perlux panoramic screens, which provide viewers with maximum comfort.
What events take place at the Dovzhenka Center?
Concerts, film screenings, performances, festivals, conferences, contests and creative evenings are organized for visitors to the Dovzhenko Center, and the Dovzhenko Center in Lviv has a co-working area with facilities for children's groups.
