The Kyiv Drama Theater on Podol is located in the tourist center of Kyiv at Andriivskyi Uzviz, 20-B. The opening of the theater took place in 1987. Since that time, its main inspiration, director and artistic director is People's Artist of Ukraine Vitaly Malakhov.

The hall of the Kyiv Drama Theater in Podol today comfortably accommodates 253 spectators and has 50 seats in the theater lounge. During the demonstration of performances, an inclusive approach is used: sign language and audio description. And today the institution is almost the only theater with similar conditions in the capital.
