Theatre on Troieshchyna

A Contemporary Art Space on Kyiv's Left Bank

The Theater on Troieshchyna opened in September 2023 and became part of the structure of the «New Ukrainian Theater» Arts Center. The venue is located on the left bank of the Dnipro River at 5 Hradynska Street. The logo was created by artist Anastasiia Kononenko, who depicted masks of comedy and tragedy, as well as a third mask that is still searching for its mood.

The first productions staged at the theater were the children's interactive performance «Carlson Is Looking for a Friend» and the comedy «Eclairs for a Million». Thus, the venue established itself within the «New Ukrainian Theater» family as a center of family leisure. Later, the stage hosted performances by the «Sonechko» Theater, the Theater on Mykhailivska, and productions by other companies. Overall, the repertoire includes around 50 performances, each of which draws a full house. A special «Debut» project was launched for young directors.

The Theater on Troieshchyna has a chamber format. The hall accommodates up to 40 spectators. Therefore, everyone here feels cozy and comfortable. A buffet operates on the premises for coffee, tea, and sweets lovers.

The director and artistic director of the Theater on Troieshchyna is Vitalii Kino.
