On June 5 at 18:00, a special evening will take place where the Odessa National Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by the world-renowned maestro Hobart Earl, will present a program in which music of three centuries merges into a single emotional space — from the luminous harmony of classicism to the mystical symphonic expression of the 20th century.
Cello Concerto No. 2 by Joseph Haydn — music of noble clarity, inner freedom, and refined beauty. In this work, the cello sounds like a human voice — sincere, warm, and deeply emotional. Soloist — Mykola Lyubenko.
Symphony No. 7 “Moon Sea” by Alemdar Karamanov — one of the most vivid and mysterious pages of Ukrainian 20th-century symphonic music. It features an impressionistic, picturesque sound reminiscent of Debussy and Ravel.
La Valse by Maurice Ravel — a brilliant choreographic poem in which the waltz gradually transforms into a rapid and almost fatal whirl.
A symphonic concert is not only music but also the atmosphere of a grand stage, the breath of the orchestra, and the energy of live performance. Such evenings remain in memory for a long time as a true encounter with great art.
