International Exhibition Center: the strongest exhibition facility in Kyiv and Ukraine
The Kyiv International Exhibition Center is one of the best in Europe and the largest in Ukraine for organizing and holding large-scale events. The idea of its creation belonged to Viktor Tkachenko, who at that time headed the Kyiv Palace of Sports. The opening of the first pavilion took place in October 2002, and since then the IEC has confidently maintained its status as a world-class center and remains a popular venue for various mass events:- forums;
- exhibitions;
- presentations;
- congresses;
- concerts;
- show programs, etc.
Technical features of the International Exhibition Center
Today, the International Exhibition Center is a multifunctional space capable of hosting large-scale mass events. The complex is designed to hold events with a number of visitors from 5 to 18 thousand people and combines modern infrastructure, comfort and wide technical capabilities.The architectural ensemble of the IEC consists of four spacious pavilions with a total area of over 73,000 m2, of which more than 38,000 m2 are occupied by exhibition halls. Their technical equipment allows the implementation of projects of any scale and level of complexity. Thanks to the super-strong floors capable of withstanding significant loads, the high height of the premises - up to 25 meters - and the predominant absence of internal columns in the pavilions, it is possible to easily assemble large-scale structures and unload large-sized exhibits directly inside the halls using truck cranes.
Themes of exhibitions at the IEC
Exhibitions held at the center cover a wide range of areas of our lives:- design and construction;
- home and garden;
- energy and ecology;
- industry and engineering;
- medicine and health;
- safety and security;
- creativity and gifts.
