Epolets is a domestic band that plays alternative rock in three languages. In the clips of passionate and outrageous guys, girls undress from time to time, and they themselves sing about 'rock is dead', which indicates the show business success and the peak of their careers. The success of the band Epolets
At the beginning of the band's birth, in 2012, Epolets played covers in Odessa and were called The Rolling Bones. Because of this, the band has considerable experience of performing on stage. Attendance at their concerts proves that the band - firstly - is very high, and secondly - that everything worked out for them. Later - the band took part in the vocal show X-Factor in the team of Andriy Khlyvnyuk from Boombox. Musicians perform songs in Ukrainian, English and Russian.
As of 2021, the guys have released four studio albums:
- Epolets (2013)
- Dogma (2014)
- Сult (2016)
- Children of the Sea (2017)
The band combines cool inflammatory vocals, professional instrumental section and charisma of musicians. Epolets have chosen a genre direction of development, something between grunge and alternative rock, which they call 'dance hard rock'. They have rethought the arrangements in a way, and their work bears little resemblance to classic rock works. Epolets get a modern sound thanks to light melodies and a carefree vibe of the frontman.
Epolets have taken the best of all the mainstream of recent decades - from the disco of the 70's, hard rock of the 80's and grunge of the 90's.
The sound producer of the album Cult is Milos Jelic - keyboardist and arranger of the band "Ocean Elzy". The single he recorded is called "I want to be with you."
Epolets concerts
Three studio records and ten music videos - you might think that Epolets is not so rich in creative life. But this is only if you do not know what a powerful concert activity they have! Participants are constantly on tour - in recent years they have visited more than 30 Ukrainian and international festivals ('Stare Misto', 'The Best City', 'Fine City', 'Respublica', 'Summer Sound', 'Woodstock', Razomfest, 'Juwenalia', 'Parish'). Drive musicians know how to make a rock show, and give the audience everything they come for - a strong voice and interactivity from the vocalist, professional sound and cool tenacious melodies. It is worth hearing and seeing. So as always, the sooner the cheaper. The first tickets for fans go on sale at the most pleasant, deliberately low, price. Then - more expensive. See you at the Epolets concerts!
