Nazarii Huk, known in show business as Julik, was born in Lviv. His parents were musicians and became their son's main inspiration when he was choosing his life's occupation. Nazarii Huk's musical abilities manifested themselves at a remarkably early age. At the age of three, the boy could already play the piano, and at six he performed serious songs about love. A year later, he began performing at weddings with his father as a keyboardist and was already earning his own money through music.
From 1997, Nazarii studied at the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv Secondary Specialized Music Boarding School. In 2000, he moved to Italy. There, the future artist entered Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella. During his studies, the young man also played the organ in a local church, which allowed him to independently cover part of his expenses.
After completing this stage, the young artist returned to Ukraine. In 2008, he began working with Ukrainian singer Lena Kornieieva, accompanying her during concerts.

In 2009, Nazarii Huk met Vasyl Lyvko. From that moment, the artist's life turned into continuous creative activity – concerts, tours, rehearsals, studio work, and constant professional growth.

In 2012, Nazarii Huk joined DZIDZIO as an instrumental musician. The band was experiencing a rapid rise at the time, very quickly becoming one of the most popular Ukrainian music projects. Public affection, large-scale concerts, and recognizable songs brought the group widespread recognition.
For Nazarii, this period became a real springboard in his career. It was through his participation in DZIDZIO that the stage name Julik became firmly associated with the musician and later turned into his main professional brand.
Working in one of the most sought-after Ukrainian bands gave the artist extensive stage experience, professional contacts, and the opportunity to meet leading representatives of the Ukrainian media industry. These connections and partnerships later became an important foundation for his independent career. After leaving the band, Julik already had the necessary experience to present himself not only as a musician in a major group, but also as an independent artist and performer.
Solo Career
In 2017, Nazarii left DZIDZIO, deciding to focus on developing his solo project. At the same time, his friendly relationship with the band's frontman Mykhailo Khoma remained. Julik himself describes his time in the band as an important chapter of his life. He considers the group a kind of second family, associated with warm memories.
The beginning of his solo journey was not without difficulties. Moving from a well-known band to becoming an independent artist meant essentially building a new brand, finding his own audience, and looking at familiar things from a different perspective. For Nazarii, these difficulties also became a professional school. The new experience forced him to learn, change his views, and become stronger.
After leaving the band, Huk launched his own project under the stage name Julik. At first, the artist actively developed as a DJ, and later moved into the role of an author and performer of his own songs. Thus, his new stage identity gradually took shape – no longer within a band, but as an independent musician.

Julik's professional activity is not limited to the music stage. Nazarii has participated in various media projects, including feature-length comedy films, large-scale television shows, and popular online formats:

His collaboration with Pavlo Zibrov became particularly close and eventually grew into a friendship. The story of the bright creative duo began in 2018, when Julik accidentally heard Zibrov's song in a taxi. At the time, Nazarii was actively working on remixes and thought it would be interesting to reinterpret one of his older colleague's famous compositions in a more modern musical style. He shared his thoughts with his manager, and the very next day the manager informed him that a meeting with Pavlo Zibrov had been arranged.
Julik suggested two options – to create a modern remix of «Dead Bees» or «Khreshchatyk». Pavlo Mykolaiovych recorded lead vocals for both songs, after which Nazarii chose the hit «Dead Bees» to work on. Listeners responded quite positively to the new sound of the composition, and the collaboration became the beginning of a strong creative and friendly bond between the two artists.

Julik's creativity stands out for its versatility, as Nazarii Huk combines several professional roles at once – he is a singer, musician, DJ, and sound producer. Therefore, his music is not limited to a single genre and constantly moves between different formats. Pop music remains the foundation of his solo repertoire. It is in this direction that his original singles «Eyes», «Flowers», «I Will Give Everything», and other compositions were created. They are characterized by light, melodic motifs combined with lyrical and romantic lyrics.
Electronic music has also become another important direction. When beginning his solo career, Julik set himself the task of popularizing Ukrainian electronic music. He actively works as a DJ, creates energetic club tracks, including «Don't Stop», and also reinterprets hits by well-known Ukrainian performers in the format of modern dance remixes.
Although Nazarii has moved away from the humorous compositions that characterized the earlier stage of his career, his experience working with energetic and cheerful music has not disappeared. It continues to help the artist engage with the audience during concerts. That is why the musician's performances easily combine vocals, club sound, and live stage energy.
Civic Position and Social Activity
Today, Julik's concerts are largely connected with charity. Together with his team, the artist travels to cities across Ukraine, holds charity performances, and donates the funds raised to support Ukrainian military personnel. To ensure that the maximum possible portion of the earnings could be directed toward aid, the team has even reduced some concert expenses and often works without a separate sound engineer. This is possible because Nazarii has his own recording studio and many years of experience in this field, allowing him to set up the sound himself and perform the functions of a sound engineer during performances.
The artist is also invited to weddings and corporate events, which are commercial in nature. However, when he has to choose between a corporate performance and a charity concert, Julik often gives preference to the charity event.
Concerts for military personnel who come for rotation or rest occupy a special place in his activity. Nazarii asks what music they would like to hear and often receives the same answer – they want cheerful songs, because there are already enough sad moments in the lives of military personnel.
