BIGSHOW ORCHESTRA is a modern Ukrainian orchestra, founded in Lviv in 2017. The team's work effectively combines classical academic sound and spectacular light and visual design of programs. Author's arrangements of familiar works - both classical and modern - open up new facets of instrumental music and add expressive individuality to each concert.
The BIGSHOW ORCHESTRA repertoire includes classics and rock, pop and jazz, music from popular films and modern hits. Among the programs that brought the orchestra popularity and recognition of a wide audience are the following projects:

The debut of the leader Roman Machyshyn as part of the BIGSHOW ORCHESTRA was the concert "World Hits about Love". The event took place on February 14, 2023, when hundreds of fans of good music gathered at the Lviv Opera.
Among the most beloved programs of the orchestra's fans is the project THE HARRY POTTER SYMPHONY. More than 30 concerts have already taken place in different cities of Ukraine, conquering the audience with an exquisite and majestic performance of compositions from the legendary film saga. The undisputed star of the live shows was the main wizard of the orchestra Taras Martynyk - the real Albus Dumbledore in the BIGSHOW ORCHESTRA.
Style and creative development of the collective
The orchestra's creative group actively integrates musical trends: it uses interactive elements, involves contemporary artists and directors in cooperation, experiments with stage effects and sound. Invited guests take part in the performances. This helps to create a unique atmosphere, leaving room for innovation without losing respect for the traditions of academic art culture.
The arsenal of BIGSHOW ORCHESTRA includes bright collaborations with famous Ukrainian performers. Among them:
- Olexander Ponomarev and Mykhailo Khoma. Accompanied by a symphony orchestra, famous artists presented the program "Ukraine Will Win" to fans. Time-tested hits and modern songs of stage stars were performed in an unsurpassed performance;
- The Dead Rooster group. The legendary group presented the exclusive program "Christmas and Selected" to fans. The event captivated the audience with a spectacular combination of signature lyrics and unbridled musical drive.
Today, the experience of BIGSHOW ORCHESTRA performances extends not only to the Ukrainian, but also to the world stage. The professional team with its unique charisma invariably gives listeners vivid emotions and exclusive impressions.
Interesting facts about the orchestra members:
- the motto of the creative activity of the chief conductor Roman Machyshyn is “The purpose of music is to excite hearts” (a saying by Johann Sebastian Bach);
- Maryna Hromadska is a participant in dozens of international festivals. The concertmaster took master classes from prominent violinists: Marik Falskog, Adelina Opreana, Orest Smovzh, Mark Komonko, Sava Latsanych;
- Yuriy Roketsky, in addition to collaborating with the orchestra, is also involved in other projects. The artist is the vocalist of the band Mertvyi Piven, a member of the band Green Silence, and a laureate of Ukrainian and international festivals;
- The musicians of the rock band as part of the orchestra also interact with other creative groups, have large-scale tours behind them, and are laureates of prestigious competitions at the Ukrainian and international levels.
