Kler is a popular Ukrainian singer, musician, songwriter, one of the brightest representatives of the new wave of Ukrainian music. Wide recognition of the talented artist was brought by a unique vision of music and an original approach to creativity, which harmoniously combines pop, hip-hop, funk, and soul. Before the beginning of her solo career, Lera wrote songs for other famous performers, and now the author's own tracks conquer the charts and the hearts of the listening audience.
Lera dreamed of a big stage since childhood. The singer tells how at the age of three months her parents took her daughter to watch a film about rock musicians. Then in kindergarten the girl loved to stay with the teacher in the group and prepare for ceremonial performances. Lera did not miss a single cultural event while studying at school. This is how the future leader of the musical group gradually grew and gained experience.
Lera Kolesnyk received her first musical education at a music school, where she sang in a quintet. Already then, the first tours and concerts in Poland and Slovakia took place. The singer admits that the main factors that determined the direction of her activity were her grandmother's singing talent and her parents' interests: her mother and father were always active music lovers.
Kler's worldview, style, and creative tastes were also influenced by books and movies. She began to read consciously in her youth. Interestingly, when reading "about herself," the girl "heard" a male voice. And some books still "sound" like that to Lera. The first book she really liked and read in one sitting was the touching work "Oscar and the Lady in Pink" by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt. Later, she became interested in psychological literature. The singer does not single out a specific genre in cinema. However, she calls the Harry Potter saga one of her favorite films.
Creative path
In 2017, a successful and fruitful collaboration with sound producer Anton Karsky begins. Together, the artists create compositions that reflect a unique creative vision and original approaches. Kler's solo career began in 2018. The music of the talented artist is quickly gaining popularity thanks to its unique sound and spectacular visual details in video clips. A vivid example is the video for the song Suzy, which captivates with bright images and experiments with styles. Kler tries to film the process of creating and recording songs in order to then share the magic with her fans on social networks.
The singer's debut album was released under the title "Yaka Ye". The songs of the release in the style of dance pop music radiate a warm summer vibe. The mini-album "Under the Blanket", released in November 2024, also deserves attention. The album's lead single of the same name is distinguished by a driving sound and calls on the audience to listen and hear themselves in the whirlpool of loud events. Each composition is powerful emotions, a separate message: about love, self-care and the power of connection. The final song "Only in Your Embrace" was recorded in collaboration with alyona alyona. The track reminds everyone how important it is to have people around you who sincerely support and share your thoughts and ideas.
In 2023, Kler met Ukrainian musician Zhenya Galich, who suggested that the singer perform with the band. For the artist, this step turned out to be successful. The singer realized that a new stage in her career had begun, a kind of growing up in music. After all, working together allows each participant to invest a piece of themselves in the future product. And the result is truly cosmic! Kler continues to work on herself and create songs that resonate in the hearts of thousands of listeners. And in November 2024, the singer's first solo concert took place on the ATLAS stage in Kyiv.
